RUSSIAN FEDERATION COUNTERFEIT ILLEGAL STAMPS
Information and Reference of Russian Federation Provinces, Republics and Regions effected by counterfeit illegal stamps according to U.P.U. Circulars and other sources
THE FOLLOWING PAGE HAS A HUGE NUMBER OF IMAGES SO PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH DOWNLOADING THE PAGE.
If you are looking for information on a specific Russian region, republic or province please use your browsers search options and type in the name to get to it quicker.
The Russian Federation counterfeit illegal stamps are being offered in many places. The main online auction venues being the main sources. eBay and Delcampe are working toward clearing out
the sales and/or the main bad sellers of them. Sadly Hipstamps and ebid are doing virtually nothing to stop them and many of these what I call "rouge dealers" have infested
their sites. Stamp buyers at this present time must be careful when buying stamps on these sites as there are thousands of the counterfeit illegal stamps being offered and sold.
This page is meant to raise awareness and to educate both buyers and sellers as to the massive problem within the stamp market that has been caused by a very few dealers and stamp producers
located worldwide that have flooded the market with these counterfeit stamps. They mainly target topical and memorabilia collectors but the average collectors and new collectors are also
being victimized. The problem started in the early 1990's and is now almost three decades old. Millions of the counterfeits are out there if not billions now. Please help end it by not
buying and/or selling them and avoiding the dealers that do. Only as a unified front can we reverse what these criminals have and are still doing. Awareness of who they are and what is real
and what is not is key to destroying their criminal industry. That is the intent of my Illegal Stamps reference section which now ranks number one on all search engines.
You do not have to be a stamp collector nor expert to recognize the following imaged stamps as counterfeits. Therefore management of the venues and auction houses have no excuse
not to eradicate the following provinces, republics and regional counterfeit illegal stamps from their venues themselves without relying on experts to report or moderate them. It is
their responsibility to do so to retain any kind of trusted reputation from buyers. Allowing major dealers of them to remain as users and sellers on their sites only shows they are
allowing them to continue to proliferate this junk for monetary gain. Therefore the management of sites that allow this is.....corrupt.
Courtesy of Maria Libera I present the following excerpts from her published Article published in the April 2016 issue of the Italian philatelic magazine Arte di Francobollo.
Internal provinces and regions of the Russian Federation
We can see there is a huge ongoing problem with counterfeit, yes counterfeit as stated by the Russian Federation, illegal stamps made in the names of the many Russian provinces
and territories belonging to the Russian Federation. The listed names below are a compiling of these areas taken from the existing circulars published in the 2016 article.
According to the Philately Rough Trade article all of the older illegal stamps were produced for or by Clive Feigenbaum. We can see by the matching styles that they are indeed one and the same
producer. We can see that these earlier 1990's counterfeit stamps are the beginnings of a long career in production of illegal stamps in the name of many countries that continues to this day
and that much of the production is being carried on by the same family. A family that has mass produced so many illegal stamps and bogus labels to the point of complete saturation of the stamp market
which has caused detrimental harm to both the victimized countries and to the stamp collecting community as a whole. That career should not be tolerated by anyone and that career needs
to be ended in a permanent way....now!
UPDATE 2021
It has been revealed that a dossier has been found in the United States Postal Museum Archive that sheds more light on who the producer was and is of the Russian provinces
and territories earlier counterfeit illegal stamps. The name revealed is indeed Mr. Juan Carlos Marino Montero president of Mayfair International Printing Company at the time.
I discovered this dossier exists through online research. Firstly here is an image of that discovery.
For years this guy spewed lies about the Feigenbaum's being evil and how he would have nothing to do with them. In reality through emails obtained and preserved
through his own words it is now proven that they were (and still are) working together. A biography on this guy not only proves he was the president of the printing
company that produced the majority of earlier illegal stamps but was also president of Urch Harris (wholesale) limited which was owned by the Feigenbaum's. Here
is a snapshot of part of that biography which is readily available in numerous locations on the internet.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic the museum was closed for over a year after I discovered the existence of the dossier. It was just sent to me in September 2021.
The dossier did not have much in it that I already did not know except for an original document made for the Mali circular 165 which names him and his company as
the producer of the counterfeit illegal stamps named in that circular. What the dossier does do is to connect the guy to the production of the illegal stamps
in the name of Russian Federation provinces and territories, Mali, Niger, Morocco, Turkmenistan, Rwanda, Cyprus and the Ukraine. This is because the circulars and
some of the original documents that were sent to make the circulars are all together and included in the dossier which as the title shown above implies and
states "A French company has made illegal issue....".
It is quite obvious even though the counterfeit illegal stamps do not have the printer inscribed on them that this producer is indeed the one simply by comparing
them. Same styles and subject matter give it away. The whole scam quite ingenious but at the same time quite simplistic. To this day the criminal producer and his
buddies proliferate these counterfeits on the stamp market with minimal hindering. It is quite remarkable that they have been allowed to get away with this for
over three decades now and that now millions of these counterfeits contaminate the stamp market in collections and dealers stocks all over the world.
END 2021 UPDATE
The examples shown below are only a small part of what has and is being produced in the names of the provinces and republics of the Russian Federation. There are many more.
These just show you what to look for in styles and names. Avoid buying any of them and avoid dealers who sell them! They are ripping you off!
To see many more examples of the counterfeits in the names of Russian provinces, territories and republics, please visit the Colnect online catalog of Illegal stamps here.
The Colnect Online Catalog for Illegal Stamps
When you get there click on the Russia category and then click on the Russia: Illegal Stamps category and a mass of links will open. It is shocking!
Counterfeit illegal stamps are not Cinderella stamps, local issues nor private issues. They cannot even be considered "labels". They are fake stamps in the name of
real countries and provinces created by dealers intent on ripping off collectors into believing they had anything to do with the named country or province at all! They
have no right to even exist at all and should be burned. Dealers intent on producing and selling them should not be allowed to exist as a stamp dealer either. It is time for all
collectors and legitimate stamp dealers to unite and remove both these bogus stamps and their distributing factors (namely bad stamp dealers) from our societies, associations
and stamp selling venues worldwide. They do not have the right to "sell what they want" as some of these criminal minded dealers have told me. In a legal sense, the victimized
countries can take legal action on these dealers in their own country. It is time that they did.....
The following shows and proves the same producer created and distributed all of the earlier illegal stamps in the name of the internal provinces and regions of the Russian Federation.
There is no doubt that they are counterfeit illegal stamps that were produced outside of these locations. There is no way that all of the provinces and regions would unite
and have the same producer make all of their "stamps" at the same time using the same styles and fashions as the following images prove. The criminal that did this was a mastermind in
the art of deceit and to this day there are thousands of victims of this one persons greed. It is time to end the charade and make the sales and attempted sales of these by anyone end.
Counterfeit goods are illegal to sell according to any legitimate countries laws. These laws must be upheld in any country that a stamp dealer resides in who is selling or
attempting to sell these counterfeit goods. Because there is proof of fraudulent postal usage of some of these illegal stamps, the repeated attempts by bad dealers and others to separate
the terminology of what they really are to perceive them as not being counterfeit stamps, is not to be accepted any more. They indeed are....counterfeit stamps.
One interesting note and you have to consider this.....
Basically the majority if not all Russian stamps are printed and inscribed in Russian spelling. No Russian stamps are printed in English.
Just look at the overprinted Russian stamps.....do they have any English spelling saying Russia?? It only shows arrogance and a superior minded attitude on the part of the British aka Argentinian counterfeiter
and his buddies who in reality are criminals that have ripped off millions of collectors worldwide for almost three decades now! Let's break down their house of cards by exposing them and their counterfeit stamps
and eradicating them all from the stamp market. It can be done if unification is created and major force is enacted against them. It has already begun......
Republic of Adygea
1992-6
Numerous counterfeit overprinted Russian stamps exist dating from 1992 to 2003. Numerous examples of counterfeit usage of them on letters and postcards exist.
1996
Although undated on the fake stamps we found the fake First Day cover showing the "date of issue". The WWF should have gone after these people
who produce tons of fake WWF related stamps long ago.
The use of the name Adigey is noted on these early productions. All stamps with this name are counterfeit illegal stamps.

Numerous counterfeit overprinted Russian stamps exist dating from 1992 to 1996. Many more than shown here.

In 2000 quite a few of these counterfeit illegal stamps were made. These are only some of them.
It is stated by some that these counterfeit WWF illegal stamps were made in 2000. There is no date on them.
Here are fake Altai postcards with the topic being Marilyn Monroe. There are numerous others. All are counterfeit.

Most of these fake stamps in the name of Amurskaya do not have year dates. Some have been stated to be from the year I place under. Whatever year
they were made does not matter. Any "stamp" made under this provinces name is a counterfeit illegal stamp.

Republic of Bashkortostan
This next group of examples is interesting. We see that Feigenbaum had produced the earlier counterfeits and then stopped in 2002. But in 2018 new fakes appear.
Go figure! Noting some of the fake stamps use the name Bashkiria. All stamps with these names past and present are counterfeit illegal stamps!

The counterfeit Montero/Feigenbaum machine starts really churning out this garbage in this year. Many of the following counterfeit illegal stamps can only
be found on the Stampdile database and are exclusive to their little network which at present is run by Avion Stamps. Thus the poor quality images.
The first image is of the fake stamps sold pretty much exclusively on the Avion website and through their fake user accounts on Delcampe.
The website in its entire form has been fully downloaded and retained as evidence and proof that what is stated here is truth and fact.
This second image shows more dating from 1998 sold by various sellers on eBay and Delcampe.
1999
All but the butterflies sheet I could only find available on the Avion site.
2000
Again except for pieces of the Cameron Diaz sheet I could only find the rest available on the Avion site.
2001
Here we have another huge batch of this junk still being produced by the same source.
2002
Then suddenly it appears to have stopped according to what is on the market and on the Avion website. Probably because of the circulars coming out from the Russian Federation.
2010
I could find only this fake stamp sheet offered showing us a long period of no activity.
2017
Now it begins again. These obviously made by the Eastern European counterfeit producers.
2018
These newer issues are being mainly offered by users p3718583218 and slava1 on Delcampe and p3718583219 and avraham79 on eBay. The users are located in Taiwan and Belarus and the USA and much of what they sell is counterfeit.
The users accounts should be permanently removed. AVOID!

Republic of Buriatia
A massive number of illegal stamps have been produced in the name of this republic for years. So many I can only show you a few examples for most years.
1992-6
1995
This is part of a set produced in this year in the name of Buriatia. Of course the whole set is available at the Avion website
which again shows the progression of the massive illegal stamps produced in the name of Buriatia. There are many more than this.

Not a lot of counterfeit illegal stamps were made for this area. The ones that were made are of course from the same producer. The later counterfeits made closer to Russia.
1996
1997
I note that apparently quite a few of these fake stamps were sold in the Asia Stamp Exhibition in 1997. Yes, the criminal stamp dealers got away with it.
1998
The year dating may be wrong on this one but because many of the WWF counterfeits were made in this same style in 1998, I place it here. Again, no year date on the fake stamps.

Franz Josef Land
I could only find Russian stamps with fake overprints made between 1993 to 1996. All considered counterfeit.
1993-6
Ingushia
Both Ingushia and the Republic of Ingushetia are one and the same. The counterfeiters used both names.
Republic of Ingushetia
The following examples show the use of the two different names. Again, everything is counterfeit and should not be purchased by anyone. A remarkable
number of counterfeit illegal stamps were made for this republic!
1993-6
There is a massive number of different overprinted Russian stamps in the name of this republic. Proof of counterfeit usage is plentiful. Dealers who
sell these and the following are committing a crime according to the laws governing counterfeit goods no matter what country they reside in.
1996
1996 Fake First Day Cover
Here we have even a fake FDC made for this illegal Ingushetia WWF souvenir sheet.
1997
Not only do these criminal counterfeit producers play upon the emotions of collectors by creating memorial topics, but they go as far as to make them think they are buying semi-postal stamps
that are donating to charity organizations like the Red Cross. I can assure you the Red cross never saw a dime from the sale of these fake Princess Diana souvenir sheets!
1998
They even produce fake booklets as the bottom WWF Butterflies counterfeit illegal stamp souvenir sheet shows....
1999
2000
2001
2003
2010
As you can see by other provinces and areas the same producer made all of this style in 2010. A really boring producer in my book. Repeatedly producing
birds and owls, Soccer for the year and of course Napoleon and de Gaulle fake stamps. No originality at all. Just a criminal with a small mind full of greed.
The user who is more than likely the producer was kicked off Delcampe long ago. So lazy he could not even take time to correct images that cut off the side of the fake stamps.
Ahh well, they are worthless pieces of garbage anyway so who really cares?
2016
Noting this is the same producer in recent years. Always the same topics. Consistent counterfeit garbage producer (and seller I might add) not worth dealing with in any regards.
Republic of Ichkeria
Noting this republic is also found using Ickeria or Ickeri as the name. I found very little offered in the names but note that one criminal has tried
to put a large quantity of vehicle related counterfeit stamps dating 2019 up recently.
1993-6
Proof of counterfeit usage is plentiful mainly on fake postcards.

The same rat dealer on Delcampe located in the Ukraine is at it again this year. They are not "FANTAZY LABELS". They are counterfeit stamps.
This user is offering many sales of counterfeit stamps. The user needs to be removed from Delcampe permanently...
Jewish Autonomous Region
The counterfeit stamps for this region were all made in the early 1990's. I could find no "modern" fakes at the time of writing this. Since that time I
found that there are listed in the Colnect catalog some newer counterfeits dating up to 2020! The older illegally overprinted Russian stamps are not
"local" by any means as they were overprinted by a criminal stamp dealer in Europe who distributed them directly.
1993-6
Proof of counterfeit usage is plentiful mainly on fake registered covers. The cancels and everything are fake. There are many more Russian stamps with
different overprints on them. These are just a few examples.
Jewish Republic
Unlike the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Jewish Republic has a flurry of fake counterfeit stamps ranging from 1992 almost to present day! Again I must stress these are only
examples. There are tons more. Many found on the Avion (aka Stampdile) website. Pure evidence of a counterfeit stamp dealer.

2000
Production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of the Jewish Republic virtually stopped in 2003 until this new freak appears in 2007....
2016
There are a number of "sets" this counterfeiter made. These are only a couple examples. The styles are all the same. Avoid them and the user that sells them!
2017
Republic of Kabardo-Balkaria
Numerous counterfeit stamps found in searches for Kabardo, Kabardino, Balkaria, Balkar and Balkarie. The counterfeiters were busy with this one!
1992-6
Noting these all use the name Kabardino-Balkar. These are just a few examples. There are many more.
1996
Noting the counterfeiters even made fake First Day Covers for some of them.
1997
Noting the Princess Diana Memoriam could only be found on the Avion Stamps (aka Stampdile) website and being sold on Delcampe by the criminal counterpart JandRStamps
who is a knowingly aiding and abetting dealer selling a banned users goods. namely the user rogerpo99 who was kicked off Delcampe long ago for selling these counterfeit stamps.
All evidence retained and recorded from both sites. So obvious.....
1998
Here again we have copyright infringement of the WWF logo. Used over and over again by these counterfeiters to sell their fake garbage.
1999
Here are examples of Counterfeit Illegal Stamp Postcards made in 1999. There are many more. Don't buy them!
2000
2001
2004
I have found the user chessfan offers tons of counterfeit illegal stamps. Does not even let you know they are fake stamps. I for one would not be a "fan" of such a dealer.
2010
In later years we have our Eastern European counterfeiters starting anew. Really shoddy printings that look like they were made on a cheap home computer printer.
If you see them....report them!
2016
Republic of Kalmykia
In the initial search for Kalmykia on eBay and Delcampe (September 2019), a large number of ongoing sales are running on both sites. Again a massive production of
these counterfeit illegal stamps ranging from 1992 to present times have been produced and are distributed worldwide. These are just examples of a few of them so you
can recognize the fakes and the spelling. All "stamps" inscribed with this republics name as if used for postage are counterfeit stamps and are illegal to sell to anyone!
It is a criminal offense in any country to do so. All will soon be banned from sales (when found) on the auction venues and persistent sellers will be punished....severely.
1992-6
1996
1997
1998
The counterfeit producer went all out in this year. Even producing booklets, fake First Day Covers and fake postcards. There are many more than just these.

This rat producer and seller just won't quit! Leaving Delcampe frame showing who it is. Again, no "fan" here....
Offering many counterfeit stamp sets like this as the above are showing. They are not "Private issues" nor "Fantazy Labels". They are counterfeit stamps.
Therefore this user is a counterfeit stamp seller which is a criminal offense in all countries including the Ukraine. Ukraine police ought to raid this guy....
2017
Kamchatka Region
Production of counterfeit stamps was and is smaller for the Kamchatka Region as far as later years. Production by the British counterfeit stamp producer ended in what appears to be 2001
although several do appear to be made by that producer in later years namely 2006 and 2008. Probably because profits from the regions was poor. Still there are many being offered and
sold on eBay and Delcampe along with rouge sellers that infest and are allowed to sell counterfeit illegal stamps rampantly on Hipstamps and ebid. On a search for this region
on Hipstamps at present you will find around 60 of the 80 listings on the site are counterfeit stamps mostly sold by around four main rouge dealers. Shame on Hipstamps management
for knowingly allowing these people to boldly contaminate their site with illegal stamps. Shows how desperate the site is for money. Buyer beware!
Should the management change their attitude and go after these people I will change this accordingly. At present as of September 2021....nothing has changed.
1992-6
I repeat these are only a few examples. There are tons of different ones on the market. All are counterfeit illegal stamps. Just don't buy them. They are meaningless and worthless trash.
1996
First here are Minerals and Butterflies counterfeit illegal stamps. Note the Hong Kong Exposition overprint on the Minerals souvenir sheets. How many collectors were and
are still being ripped off with the counterfeit stamps?
I note the following Dogs set and the Panda souvenir sheet are listed by various unscrupulous dealers with varies years of issue. Some saying 1996, some saying 1998 and so forth.
Here is proof of the year. It is....1996. I note the illegal copyright infringing usage of the Scouts and WWF logo's. There is nothing "Official" about the FDC's. Completely fake!

Also found in searches for Karachay, Karachaevo, Karatchaievo, Caratchaevo, Cherkesia and Tcherkessie. Not a lot of counterfeit stamps were produced for this region but still they exist.
1992-6
1996
Dealers are dating this from anywhere between 1992 to 2000. Here is the proof it was made in 1996. And yes, still all fake, counterfeit and illegal!
1997
1998
1999
In this year the British criminal counterfeit producer made a number of sets and postcards.
Gleefully ripping off Stamp Exhibition visitors, Dinosaur stamp collectors, Train stamp collectors and Birds and Pigeon Stamp collectors.
Gleefully ripping off Tiger collectors.
Gleefully ripping off Cat collectors.
Gleefully ripping off Dog collectors.
Gleefully ripping off postcard collectors with fake Titanic and Chess related counterfeits.
Here is proof of counterfeit usage of one of the Titanic postcards. This is why all illegal stamps must be considered counterfeit goods. Any of them can
be used in this way defrauding the postal administrations of any country.
2000
2003
2006
2010
Republic of Karelia
Here again we have a massive number of counterfeit stamps produced in the name of the Karelia Republic.
1992-6
Noting numerous "variations" of overprints on Russian stamps. One that is not connected by many is the use of the City name Petroskoi. It is the capital city within the
Karelia Republic. Whole "series" with this name are made and promoted as the 1st issue, 2nd issue and so forth for this republic. Again, all of them are counterfeit illegal
stamps produced by a British producer to rip you off! Do not listen to any stamp "dealer" trying to convince you they are authentic or genuine local issues in any regards.
Indeed, back in World War II Finland occupied the region and there are many Finnish stamps with these kind of overprints with the name Karjala (see Karjala section) on them. They are highly collectible.
These are where the British counterfeit producer got his idea to make the overprinted Russian stamps. Thus these unscrupulous dealers are mixing the counterfeit sales in the
searches for Karelia genuine local issues. Other than that, the two have nothing in common and the counterfeit overprinted Russian stamps should be weeded out of the searches forcefully.
Noting there are not many counterfeits with the name Karelia, but there are a ton with the name Karjala (see Karjala section).
1996
It is interesting to note that the same printer of these as shown by the color guide on the Formula I counterfeit block is the same printer used to make the
unauthorized reprints of the Saint Vincent 1985 Elvis Presley stamp issues including the fake inverts at around the same time these were produced.
All produced and distributed by Clive Feigenbaum and Juan Montero.
1997
In this year many more counterfeit illegal stamps were produced in the name of Karelia. All are worthless and according to international law....illegal to sell.
Yet these "dealers" continue to proliferate them to this day. Here are examples for 1997.
1998
The production of the counterfeits continued rampantly in 1998.
1999
2000
2001
2002
In 2002 it is like the producer went insane creating all kinds of sheets of celebrities, rock stars and the pope! Also Millenium garbage all of it being counterfeit!
Most of these tiny images of what appear to be exclusively sold counterfeits were picked up from our friendly counterfeit stamp dealer....Avion Stamps.
2003
2004
Of course! More Lord of the Rings counterfeit stamps. He must have made a killing on them! Except I only found them for sale on...you guessed it....the Avion website....
2010
Everything slowed it appears until 2009 when our shoddy Eastern Europe producer attacks in full force. Seems to be always the three same subjects in this year.
Owls, Napoleon and the 2010 World Cup soccer themes. Here's an example. Always being sold by a good for nothing user on Delcampe......exclusively.....so obvious.
2013
2016
Karjala
Another massive spewing of counterfeit stamps in the name of Karjala has and is circulating on the stamp market. Karjala is another name for Karelia and is therefore a little
confusing for the stamp collector. It is the Finnish name for the republic. You will find the counterfeits named Karjala being sold in searches for either name. There were many more counterfeit
overprinted Russian stamps made by the British producer in the name of Karjala than in the name of Karelia. He obviously enjoyed the confusion caused by the names and used
it to his advantage to produce even more fake stamps.
1992-6
Noting there are many more different overprinted Russian stamps than what are shown here. All are counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Karjala.
1996
Again as before with the many other Russian provinces and republics our British counterfeit producer and distributors create illegal stamps in the same styles in the name of Karjala starting in 1996.
It is one reason why they became millionaires. A true nightmare for philately worldwide as you can see and it is still one to this day. All of the following illegal stamps
in the name of Karjala are considered counterfeit by the Russian Federation and yet....they are doing nothing to stop the proliferation of them. Once again I point out that there
are many more than what are imaged here. These are just examples for you to understand what to recognize and avoid.
1997
1998
1999
There are a dozen or more different fake postcards relating to chess like these that the counterfeit producer created in 1999. Don't buy them!
2000
2001
2002
Then the British counterfeit producer seems to have stopped. Until 2005 when our Eastern Europe producer steps in. Don't let these criminal
dealers try to convince you they are "Cinderella stamps" or labels or local issues. They are counterfeit stamps inscribed with a real republics name with a monetary value
inscribed on them which makes them counterfeit stamps with intent to defraud the postal service and collectors.

This is part of a huge set I found being sold on Delcampe in the past produced and sold by a producer in Spain. See some of my country reference
sections to see more fake garbage produced by this criminal. This is just one image from it. It is still out there being circulated. Counterfeit!
2011
Republic of Khakasia
The counterfeit illegal stamps are mainly found under searches for Khakassia, Chakasia and Hakasia. The really bad cons try to hide using these wrong names.
1992-6
Noting there are many more different overprinted Russian stamps than what are shown here. All are counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Khakasia, many inscribed Hakasia.
1997
It appears the British producer started out slow in producing counterfeit stamps in the name of Khakasia. Noting he always used the misspelled names to avoid detection. On
the Avion Stamps website which uses the database made by the producer and distributor you will find all that are left in their stock under the name Chakasia.
1997-1998
Due to no date placed on these and no reference to them on the Avion site i am placing them in the years 1997 and 1998. The styles are common for that time. Perhaps
someone out there has more detailed information as to when they were actually made. feel free to contact me if you do.
1998
I could only find this one counterfeit sheet referenced as dating 1998 and yes, it is only available at the Avion site.
1999
I could only find this one counterfeit sheet referenced as dating 1999. It is being sold in several places and is the only referenced sheet dating 1999 on the Avion site.
2000
In the year 2000 the British producer went all out producing a massive number of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of the Republic of Khakasia. This is
not all of them. Note the changing of the name from Hakasia to Khakassia.
Here we have a massive production of Norman Rockwell Scouting Paintings depicted on the counterfeit stamps. The producer going as far as to create fake
First Day covers in sets of 11. Everything is fake including the cancels. Avoid them and the dealers who proliferate them!
2001
2003
It appears the producer "took a break" in 2002. Then another production of counterfeit stamps in 2003.
And then he stopped.....or maybe not?
A new producer appears.
2005
2007
2008
This looks like the British producers style yes? But as you can see below it the same style is used and they are definitely made by the Eastern European producers.
Or is there collaboration between the two which is most likely the case.
2009
The Eastern European producer takes over.....
2011
And starts spewing out this counterfeit garbage!
2011
There are a number of other sheets like these this counterfeit producer made. Avoid them all!
Autonomous Region of Koriakia
1992-6
Noting there are many more different overprinted Russian stamps than what are shown here. Koriakia is not a republic. All are counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Koriakia.
1998
The British producer appears to have ignored this region at first as I could only find counterfeit stamps for the year 1998 to start with available. We can see that
the same pattern is being followed and he stops in 2003. Of course our Eastern European producer comes in 2010 with a slew of garbage and then he too seems to stop for this region.
I note the user that offered the 2010 counterfeits was kicked off Delcampe. Good!
1999
2000
2001
2003
2010
Kolguev Island
Very little was produced by the British producer for Kolguev Island. Only a couple sets of counterfeit overprinted Russian stamps and one set
of counterfeit Arctic Fauna stamps made in 1999. It appears nobody else has interest in producing counterfeit stamps for this island.
1992-6
1999
Komi Republic
And then we have the counterfeit illegal stamps produced in the name of the Komi Republic. A massive number of counterfeit stamps produced by
the British producer through 2004 and a couple by the Eastern European producer dating 2010. There is a large number of these counterfeits being offered
and sold on eBay and the other venues mainly being offered by the usual counterfeit illegal stamp dealers that plague the venues.
There are way too many to show all of them on this page. The examples show you the different varieties of printings and Russian lettering so you can recognize
them and avoid them and the criminal dealers who sell them.
1992-6
1996
It appears only these two counterfeit sets were created in 1996 in the name of the Komi Republic. I note that the one with the color guide is again proof that Juan Montero and
Clive Feigenbaum (owner of Stampdile) were the ones behind all of this as the color guide is proof of printing by the same printer as was used to make the Saint Vincent unauthorized
reprints of the 1985 Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley stamps including the fake inverts of the Elvis Presley stamps. A forensic analysis of the papers used, the gum and
the inks would prove they and these counterfeit illegal stamps are all made by the same producer. A real blunder on their part for leaving this evidence.
Noting the Deer block is only available on the Avion website and is the only set noted to be made in 1996. The Avion Stamps website the only site left using the Feigenbaum database
which is the road map to follow the history of the counterfeit illegal stamp production made by this producer and distributer. The database preserved as evidence and
proof of the association between the two sites (Stampdile no longer online) and the two owners families has also been retained.
1997
In 1997 production of counterfeit illegal stamps by this producer began on a massive scale. Following are examples. They are not all that were produced by
any means. The examples are meant to show you the scale of the problem caused by the producer and his network of "friends" and to guide you in what to look for and recognize
as counterfeit stamps so you can avoid them and the dealers who are trying to rip you off with them.
Here we have the fake Chess related sets. I note that dealers list these and many of the other counterfeit stamps under a variety of years because the year is not inscribed
on many of the counterfeit stamps. This was part of the design to confuse dealers and collectors. At the bottom of this image is a fake First Day Cover verifying these to
be made in 1997. The producer should have been arrested for using a false instrument (being the fake cancel) and producing the counterfeit stamps in the first place. It is too
late now. Now we are in process of cleaning up his massive mess he left behind.
1998
1999
1999 Komi Republic Counterfeit Postcards (Postal Stationary)
In 1999 the producer had a large number of counterfeit illegal stamp postcards made with the topics of Chess and Minerals. These are just a couple examples.
2000
In 2000 the producer began making numerous large sheets like these. Note the exact style as the Mayfair International sheets made in the name of many other
victimized countries. They are indeed with no doubt made by Montero and crew.
2001
These rat counterfeit illegal stamp producers and their counterfeit dealing buddies prey on everyone using topics like the 9/11 terrorist attack on the U.S. Twin Towers by
producing them in the year of the tragedy for maximum sales.
2002
2003
2004
This was the last year the British counterfeit producer made illegal stamps in the name of the Komi Republic.
Then in 2005 the Eastern European producer starts.
2005
2007
2010
2016
Kunashir Island
Kunashir Island is part of the Kuril Islands. Very little is found in regards to illegal stamps in the islands name.
I could only find one set with the name in English stated to be made in 1998 and one souvenir sheet from a counterfeit Kuril Islands 1999 dog series
with the name in Russian lettering.
1998
1999
The series is for the Kuril Islands and the souvenir sheets have names of various islands on them. This one has Kunashir on it.
Kuril islands
Numerous counterfeit Russian overprint stamps exist for the Kuril Islands. The British producer did not make as many counterfeit illegal stamps for
the Kuril Islands although in 1999 he did make an extensive Dogs series.
1992-6
1996
1997
1998
1999
Here are examples of that counterfeit Dogs series I mentioned. There are a total of twenty of these souvenir sheets in the series. All are worthless.
Here are examples from a Presidents of the United States series and some others. There are five Presidents souvenir sheets. Again....worthless.
Note the color guides. Same printer.....same producer.
2000
2001
This was the last year the British counterfeit producer made illegal stamps in the name of the Kuril Islands.
I found only one sale of the Eastern European producers junk.
2008
Litke Islands
I could find very little for Litke Islands. Appears that only some recent counterfeit illegal stamps were produced in 2017. I could find nothing older under the search.
2017
Mari-El Republic
Also found in search terms for Marij El.
1992-6
1996
1997
1998
1999
It appears that in 1999 the British counterfeit stamp producer only had counterfeit Motorcycle related postcards made. Around 16 different ones made.
2000
2001
2001 Postcard
It appears that in 2001 the British counterfeit stamp producer only printed one counterfeit Winston Churchill related postcard. The last counterfeit made in the name
of Mari-El by this producer.
I found only one sale of the Eastern European producers junk for Mari-El Republic as well. It shows these criminals will and can produce more at any time.
2016
Republic of Mordovia
Can be found hidden under searches for Moldavia or Moldova.
Production and distribution of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of the Republic of Mordovia was enacted by the British producer and his goons on a massive scale through 2004.
Then in 2006 again the Eastern European producer started up. There are many more counterfeit illegal stamps using the name Mordovia than are shown here. All "stamps"
using the name unless genuine Russian stamps that reference the republic or its culture are counterfeit and are illegal to sell in any country.
Criminal charges
can and should be brought up against the main stamp dealers who have been selling them all these years.
1992-6
All overprinted Russian stamps that are like these are counterfeits.
1996
Any First Day Covers bearing these counterfeit stamps are worthless. The cancels being created by a criminal using false instruments.
1996 Booklets
Any Booklets bearing these counterfeit stamps are worthless. The criminal producer was obsessed with using the WWF logo using it on hundreds of counterfeit
illegal stamps and souvenir sheets in the name of over 60 countries and 60 republics and territories. He was pure evil in the stamp world and made a fortune
by ripping off now millions of collectors all over the world. His "buddies" and related still at it to this day in 2021.
1997
1998
1999
1999 Postcards
Numerous fake postcards in the name of the Republic of Mordovia were created in 1999. Here are examples. Also worthless and should be avoided.
2000
2001
2002
Here I found these counterfeit Xena the Warrior Princess stamp sheets being sold pretty much exclusively by Avion Stamps and the fake Xena First Day Covers (which there are more than shown)
being what appears to be exclusively sold by user beyond_collectibles on eBay in the collectibles categories. This shows how far reaching these counterfeits have
gone. They effect not only stamp collectors, but memorabilia collectors and many other types of collectors. Is the user stating they are illegal stamps? Absolutely not!
May not know what they are which I doubt. This is the deceit that has ripped off millions of collectors and dealers over the years. This user states they are "rare". How does he/she know this?
Do they know the counterfeit producer or distributer personally? If so they are associating with criminals. Counterfeit stamps are not "rare" and therefore this user is making
false claims to sell their false products. Avoid!
2003
Here the counterfeit producer made a bunch of Pope John Paul II illegal stamps. This producer was obsessed with him as well. Must have sold well....
2004
Finally he stopped after making these counterfeit Mordovia Harry Potter stamp sheets.
Then the Eastern European producer started.
2006
2007
2010
2011
2014
2016
New Land Island
It appears only one set of Russian stamps have counterfeit overprints on them and the British producer did not make anything else in the name of New Land Island.
1992-6
Republic of North Ossetia
Numerous counterfeit stamps have been produced in the name of North Ossetia as well. The British producer did not make as many as for some republics though.
Here is what to be aware of.
1992-6
Here are examples of the counterfeit overprint stamps. There are others.
1996
I could only find this one counterfeit block and fake First Day Cover for it for the year 1996. Only being sold on the Avion Stamps website.
1997
Again, I could only find this Princess Diana counterfeit block and counterfeit Satellites souvenir sheet for the year 1997. Again, only being sold on the Avion Stamps website.
1998
1999
1999 Postcards
Again the British producer creates another group of counterfeit postcards. This time in the name of North Ossetia. Here are examples.
2000
I could only find these two counterfeit stamp sheets dating 2000. Again, only available on the Avion website.
2001
It appears the British producer ended production of counterfeit stamps for this republic in 2001. Again, these last two sheets only available on the Avion website.
And then of course the Eastern European took over.
2008
2009
2013
Found these on eBay being exclusively sold by user hmaraboss777. In viewing the users account I can see he/she is a counterfeit stamp dealer of the worst kind.
Not even trying to say "fantazy label" like on Delcampe where this user has been kicked several times. One for the "chopping block". Your time is short buddy....
I will assure that now that I have found you.
2014
And exclusively from our buddy on Delcampe fan_at2. Good for nothing dealer to avoid.
Novosibirsk Islands
Very little produced for the Novosibirsk Islands. The concentration by the counterfeit producers was and is on the Sakha Yakutia Republic of which the
Novosibirsk Islands are part of.
1992-6
Here are examples of the counterfeit overprint stamps. There may be others.
1999
Only this one Dinosaurs souvenir sheet is listed on the Avion site and available on the internet. I could find no other counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of the islands.
I wonder how many people got ripped off at the 1999 PHILEX Stamp convention in France that year with this counterfeit and how many have and are being ripped off with it to this day.
Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
A huge number of counterfeit illegal stamps were produced in the name of Sakha Yakutia. Many different counterfeit overprint stamps from 1992-6 observed.
There are a number of variations for the name of this republic. Sakha Republic, Yakutia Republic, Yakutia-Sacha, Sacha-Yakutia, Sakha-Jakutia, Sacha Yakutia, Sacha Republic, Yakutia.
The bottom line is that they are all counterfeit illegal stamps unless they are genuine Russian stamps without overprints that only reference the
republic within the topic of the stamp(s). As far as that is concerned....there are none.
1992-6
Here are examples of the counterfeit overprint stamps. There are many others.
1996
1997
1998
1999
1999 Postcards
It appears the producer slowed production of counterfeit stamps in the name of Yakutia in this year. Possibly because of the concentration of counterfeit postcards produced.
Here are a few examples from several larger sets. There are four Great People of the 20th Century cards and twelve Greenpeace cards.
2000
2001
2002
2003
2008
In 2008 the Spanish counterfeit producer who was and is heavily involved in some of the African countries tried to put his mitts into it with his usual counterfeit Olympic theme garbage.
It appears the British producer made one more with his WWF obsession before leaving the scene in this year.
2009
Then the Eastern European producer took over.
2010
2011
2014
Sakhalin Region
Sakhalin or Sakhalin Island is the largest Island of the Russian Federation. Sometimes wrongly listed under Sakha Yakutia because of confusion with the Russian Cyrillic lettering "CAXA".
Numerous counterfeit illegal stamps were produced in the name of Sakhalin from 1992 through 2016. There are genuine older Japanese stamps in the name of Sakhalin and genuine Russian postcards
and mailings to and from this island.
1992-6
Here are examples of the counterfeit overprint stamps. There are many others.
1996
1997
Quite the production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Sakhalin was done by the British producer in 1997. Even fake color proofs of one set are available.
Here we have a counterfeit First Day Cover for the Chess set including use of a false instrument to produce counterfeit cancels. Totally worthless....
Here we have the counterfeit 1997 Sakhalin Prehistoric Man set broken from one of the pane. Below it an image taken from the user noblespirit on eBay who is selling
a set of progressive color proofs of the panes. The user is asking $97.50 for it! Price "was" $150.00!! The user states "An excellent addition to your collection or
investment portfolio!" They are worthless counterfeits and therefore this statement by the user is misleading and false.
The problem with major "consignment" dealers like this is they do not check anything about the stamp consignments they receive. They will basically accept consignments
from anyone and take their word for it that the stamps are genuine. These fake progressive color proofs are basically exclusively sold on the Avion Stamps website and
are probably (95% certain) consigned by the owner or one of his criminal associates. There is nothing said in the sale about what these really are. Therefore the listing
by noblespirit is fraudulent and should be removed. Counterfeit stamps are not allowed to be sold on eBay according to the eBay stamp policy. There are many cases of this
user selling counterfeits and forgeries like these. A lot of proof and evidence is retained so the user cannot deny this fact nor fight me on it. This user is just being
shown as an example. There are many of these kind of dealers and auction houses. When confronted their excuse is their volume and turnover is too large to inspect every sale.
This "excuse" should not be tolerated and these people should be forced into inspecting everything they offer to the public because all they are doing is proliferating
the sale and production of counterfeit stamps and forgeries by criminals bent on ripping you off! Therefore in my opinion, noblespirit is not so noble at all.
Here are a few more examples of the counterfeits made in 1997 in the name of Sakhalin.
1998
1999
2000
2001
2002
It appears that the British producer again stopped in 2002 although there are connections with sales of counterfeits produced by the Spanish producer in 2009 and 2010
by associated distributors of the British producer.
2003
I could find no other counterfeit stamps in the name of Sakhalin dating after 2003 until 2009. The user Newshop2012 (a prolific illegal stamp seller on Hipstamps) appears
to have exclusive sales of these next counterfeits dating 2009 and 2010. It is interesting that this user uses the exact same images for some older counterfeits in
the name of Sakhalin as the user rogerpo99 (Avion Stamps), thus a connection between the two accounts on Hipstamps and the Spanish producer of the 2009 and 2010 counterfeit
illegal stamps.
2009
Noting there are many more of this style made in 2009. These are just a couple examples. Note the "Local Mail" inscription. There was and is no "local mail" in Sakhalin.
2010
Noting again there are many more of this style made in 2010. These are just a few examples.
In 2010 the Eastern European producer also started producing counterfeit stamps in the name of Sakhalin.
2014
2016
Spitsbergen Island
It appears only some counterfeit overprinted Russian stamps were produced in the name of Spitsbergen Island back in 1995.
1995
Republic of Tatarstan
A huge number of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Tartarstan have been produced mainly by the British producer. In searches on the auction venues
numerous sales of them are being offered.
This must be ended.
1992-6
Here are examples of the counterfeit overprint stamps in the name of the Tatarstan Republic. There are many others.
1996
Here the British producer again creates counterfeit WWF related stamps with counterfeit First Day Covers.
Also producing counterfeit WWF stamp booklets. Each booklet pane shown is in the same generic cover shown.
Much more was produced than what follows. All years are for examples only and do not cover everything that was made.
1997
1998
1999
2000
2001
2002
2003
In 2003 the Eastern European producer starts.
2004
2006
Oddly enough the British producer made one more group of counterfeit illegal stamps before leaving the scene for Tatarstan. I note the style is the same as later
productions (2018) of counterfeit stamps in the name of certain African countries. Yes the British producers are still at it strong!

Republic of Tuva
Can be found in searches for Tuva and Touva. An atrocious number of counterfeit illegal stamps were produced by the British producer and later others. Defining them
can be difficult for those who are not aware of the genuine stamps from Tannu-Tuva which also use Tuva and/or Touva in the inscriptions. The bottom line is that any
"stamp" using the name Tuva or Touva that is of a modern nature is in jeopardy of being a counterfeit stamp. The last genuine issues listed in major catalogs for Tannu-Tuva
were made in 1943.
In Russian Cyrillic lettering I have found the name saying Tuva or Tiva as well. What a scam!
1992-6
Here are examples of the counterfeit overprint stamps in the name of the Republic of Tuva. There are many others.
1994
On April 13, 1994 The government of Tuva contracted an Austrian company called Dvornikova and Snada to have sets of stamps printed. The contract ran through to
1996. The printers used to make the stamps were Wiener Staatsdruckerei in Austria and a number of sets were made in China PR. Tuva was trying to generate more revenue
for the economy by restarting production and use of stamps. Tuva was under control by Russian since 1944 as they are to this day and therefore all mailings from there use Russian
stamps. The Tuva government requested permission from the Russian authorities for allowance to continue to produce stamps and use their own mailing system as they had in
the earlier years. They were denied the permission. During time of the negotiation with Russian authorities the stamps were printed and sent to Tuva in an official manner.
Sadly, because of the denial, none were allowed to be used.
This in turn caused a "debacle" within the stamp market as to what these new stamps were. Because the British counterfeit producer was already creating illegal stamps
in the name of Tuva and because Tuva had not issued out any more stamps since 1943, the stamp market was highly skeptical of the new stamps. Because the stamps
were denied usage they can only be assigned the status of "Officially prepared but never issued" or as we mostly say "unissued stamps". Because of the existence of
numerous official documents proving the official ordering and production of the stamps , they cannot be deemed illegal, cinderella nor local issues. A good catalog
to use as reference to these is the Tuva 2000 Stamp Catalog written by Mr. Anders Backman who produced the catalog to clarify what is real in terms of the stamps of Tuva.
Here are a few examples of the stamps produced for the Tuva government.
At the same time the British producer was making more overprinted Russian counterfeits and had begun producing full counterfeit stamps as well.
1995
In 1995 this one producer created a massive number of counterfeit stamps in the name of the Republic of Tuva in this year. This is at the same time that Tuva was having
stamps made thus the debacle continued. Here is an example of the real "unissued" stamps.
The British producer made an incredible number of counterfeit stamps in the name of the Republic of Tuva under a flurry of different topics.
He had produced color proof sets, imperforates, perforation errors, deluxe souvenir sheets and fake first day covers.
Here are more examples. Note the styles. The simplicity used to maximize cheap production while still attracting topical collectors all over the world.
Finally, here are examples of the varieties and errors. The perforation errors are purposely made and are not rare. There is nothing "special"
about any of these except that they were created by a con bent on ripping you off. Just don't buy this junk! It is worthless because it is counterfeit!
1996
The onslaught continues. Another mass of counterfeits produced. Way too many to show here. Even fake "specimen" stamps. I can assure you none were sent to the UPU!
Noting the "Preservation of the Environment" counterfeit was produced in 1996 and then overprinted in 1997.
1997
It was in 1997 that the counterfeit producer started changing the country name from Russian Cyrillic to English with "Tuva Republic".
The first counterfeit postcard in the name of the Republic of Tuva was produced in 1997.
1998
The Apollo souvenir sheet was created and overprinted in the same year.
Again I stress there are many more counterfeits that were produced in 1998 than this.
The Teletubbies sheets have a history. Clive Feigenbaum and his son Jonathan who were directors of Stampdile at the time were found guilty of distribution of it and fined. The article read:
April 4, 2001 13:36: A company and two of its directors were fined £5,000 for
supplying 'Star Wars' and 'Teletubbies' stamps which breached trademarks' legislation.
Stampdile Ltd, based in Alexandra Avenue, Rayners Lane, was found guilty
and fined £2,000 at Harrow Magistrates Court last week. Directors Clive
Feigenbaum and Jonathan Feigenbaum were fined £1,500 each.
Clive Feigenbaum told the court they were established stamp dealers for 50 years
and blamed the publishers.
The company and the Feigenbaum's were also ordered to pay costs of £2,000.
So.....who were the publishers??? Well now we know don't we....
1999
In 1999 the British producer created a slew of dog related sheets. These are just a few. I note the use of the name "Touva" becomes prominent.
In 1999 more counterfeit postcards in the name of the Republic of Tuva are produced with Insects and de Gaulle as topics.
2000
In 2000 the British producer did a major production of Scouts related sheets. They were produced in metallic foil as well.
The producers distributor well known for his gold foil bogus issues. No exception here....
2001
In 2001 the British producer seemed to slow down productions. Note the color guide on several. Same printer.
An interesting note. In 2009 the same images used on the "Greatest Stars" souvenir sheet were used in the massive illegal stamp production of the Ivory Coast "Famous People" set.
This shows how the counterfeit producer re-uses images and has obviously retained all materials to reproduce the counterfeit stamps at will. None are rare by any means of the word.
Visit my reference section on Ivory Coast illegal stamps to learn more about where the images were taken from.
2002
I could only find images from the Avion Stamps website and his associates for the 2002 counterfeit illegal stamps. Sorry for the bad images. It shows nobody wants this garbage from them.
2003
Very few counterfeit illegal stamps produced from 2003 forward. Here I show you an example (top souvenir sheets) where the criminal producer obtained a stock of the 1995 Wild Birds
unissued souvenir sheets and overprinted them with counterfeit overprints. This is surely an attempt by the criminals to cause more confusion and possibly to "piggy back" on the
newly discovered at the time status of the unissued stamps and a possible retaliation by the cons against the Backman Tuvalu 2000 catalog which has verified the "real" stamps
turning the tide on their counterfeit Tuva stamps. This of course leaving Feigenbaum and his buddy Montero out in the cold.
2004
2005
For 2005 I could only find this one sheet and it is not on the Avion website.
2006
In 2006 the British producer made a few more counterfeit sets and stopped. The Eastern European goon starts.
Noting there is a larger number of the "Over the Hedge" counterfeit illegal stamps than shown here. Avoid!
The Eastern European produced counterfeits dating 2006 and forward.
2008
2009
2010
2011
This is the last year I could find counterfeit stamps for in the name of the Republic of Tuva. Will there be more?
Republic of Udmurtia
Yet another huge number of counterfeit illegal stamps were produced by the British producer and later others for the Republic of Udmurtia as well. Only Russian stamps
that have the name within the topic of the Russian stamp or letters and postcards sent from there using un-overprinted Russian stamps are genuine. Any stamp that is inscribed
with the name Udmurtia as if it were a local issue or to be used as postage is counterfeit.
1992-6
Here are examples of the counterfeit overprint stamps in the name of the Republic of Udmurtia. Again, there are many others.
1996
1997
1998
Again, a massive number of counterfeit illegal stamps were produced in the name of Udmurtia in 1998-2003. These are only a few of them.
1999
Here are examples of counterfeit postcards produced in 1999 in the name of Udmurtia.
2000
2001

2003
2004
2005
2006
The year 2006 is pretty much the end of the British producers career in producing counterfeit stamps in the name of Udmurtia. Noting this "style"
being used on other recent illegal stamps in the name of other countries showing the British "family" is still up to no good.
In 2007 the Eastern European producer(s) took over. The latest production being in 2016. This shows us that the producer is still a threat to this day.
2007
2008
2009
2010
In 2010 our Spanish based producer tried to horn in producing a set of counterfeit insect related stamps in the name of Udmurtia having the bright idea to inscribe
them with "LOCAL MAIL" to deceive collectors into thinking they are authentic. These being sold by the con dealer Newshop2012 on Hipstamps. Looks like a set of 8 exist of this junk.
The Eastern European producer continues.....
2011
2014
2016
As I state over and over again.....
Buyer AND dealer BEWARE! Please do the research BEFORE buying stamps. These criminals are fully bent on ripping you off any way they can! You can now see the harm caused by one person
and his associated criminal dealers and what it has done to the stamp market. Saturating it with counterfeit stamps that have now been on the market for up to three decades and
influencing other criminals to attempt to produce new counterfeit stamps to the present times.
It is time to eradicate them from the market and to eradicate the bad dealers that persist in trying to proliferate them. This page is designed so that anyone (stamp collector or not)
can learn to recognize the counterfeit illegal stamps in the names of provinces, republics and regions that are within the Russian Federation and take action to have them removed. All
auction venues, auction houses and anyone who deals in collectible postage stamps can use this page to detect, define and remove them and, if needed remove the bad sellers and dealers
who persist in trying to sell them through their venues. You are free to use the images and information on this page to accomplish this goal. Do not allow any stamp dealer or collector
to try to persuade you that the above defined "stamps" are anything other than
counterfeit illegal stamps!
